Defeat admitted

Well, the trailer is still in the side yard and comes in handy as a flatbed every now and then.  After we sold our other pop-up last fall and took a tour of Camp-Inn's factory in Necedah, WI.  My wife wasn't sold on the teardrop camper idea... So now we have an apartment on wheels: a 2018 Coachmen Clipper 21BH coming in at 4200lbs dry.  I still have plans for the other trailer, with 2019 burning man on the horizon, I hope to build it out as some kind of storage / outdoor kitchen for that trip.

Demolition Complete (for now)

So now I've got it down to a flatbed trailer.  I plan to keep it like this for the Cardboard Cup Regatta in June, making boat transportation much easier.  After that, I can start the rebuilding process!

Let's see what we're working with

So I opened up the pop up to clean it out, besides a bit of roof leaking, the fridge door missing, and the ratchet in the winch not working, it's in surprisingly good shape!

I ripped the first of the cabinets out, more to come on Demo Day!

Favorite design

So it turns out the one design I really like has several build logs out there:

The more I think about it, the more I like the "basement" idea, especially for the water tank, I didn't really like the idea of it hanging below the frame.

Huh. This is what I've been trying to draw

It's always nice when you stumble across exactly what your thinking about:

That's pretty close to what I've been envisioning.

I'm hoping to get the side yard fence opened up enough to get the trailer in the back yard so I can start working on it.
